BREWING GUIDANCE 

Prepare Each Tea With Care


Different teas benefit from different brewing temperatures and steeping times. Use the guidance below as a starting point, then adjust to your preferred strength and character.



GREEN TEA 

75°C – 80°C · 2:00 mins

A cooler brew helps preserve the delicate character of first-flush green tea, bringing out its fresh, naturally sweet and gently nutty notes.

BLACK TEA 

90°C – 95°C · 3:00 mins

A slightly hotter brew suits fuller-bodied black teas, helping develop their rich aroma, depth and distinctive character.

HERBAL & BOTANICAL INFUSIONS 

95°C – 100°C · 5:00 mins

Botanical infusions such as peppermint, chamomile and fruit blends benefit from a hotter, longer steep to create a full and aromatic cup.
