Description
ETHIOPIA LIMU • WILD HEIRLOOM
Fully Washed • Eastern African Heirloom Arabica • Wild Fruit • Dark Wine • Deep Sweetness
From the southwestern highlands of Ethiopia's Oromia region at 1,600 MASL, this exceptional lot is a curated blend of hand-selected heirloom beans sourced from six premier regional farms. High-altitude forest shade canopies and mineral-rich volcanic soils slow cherry maturation to a crawl, concentrating complex organic compounds within native Eastern African Heirloom Arabica varietals—producing exceptionally dense, naturally sugar-packed beans.
While sharing the same Ethiopian lineage as a classic Yirgacheffe, the Limu trades intense florals for a deeper, more robust structure—wild, winey, and remarkably full-bodied. A cup that reveals how deeply delicious and complex wild Ethiopian coffee can truly be.
