Pour-over strength is entirely in your hands. Use these ratios as your starting point:
- Light & delicate — 5g coffee per 100ml water | coarse grind | 3 min steep
- Balanced & smooth — 7g coffee per 100ml water | medium grind | 4 min steep
- Bold & intense — 9g coffee per 100ml water | medium-fine grind | 4–5 min steep
Always bloom first: pour just enough water to saturate the grounds and wait 20–30 seconds before continuing your pour. This releases CO₂ and opens up the flavour.
